Did you know ...
There are 2 ways that paint travels from the paint reservoir into the airbrush: (1) gravity feed and (2) siphon feed. In the gravity feed system. the paint reservoir is located on the top or side of the airbrush and gravity pulls the paint into the mixing chamber of the airbrush where it is atomized and sprayed. In siphon feed (sometime referred to as bottom feed) the reservoir is located at the bottom of the airbrush and a tube runs from the airbrush down into the reservoir. A siphon is formed as air is blown across the top of the tube pulling paint into the mixing chamber where it is atomized and sprayed-out.
